Wayfinding signage 2.0: part map, part employee

We're all familiar with traditional wayfinding signage: static, directional signs and maybe a few master maps around the venue bearing the familiar words, "You Are Here." This approach is quite effective for simple applications, but in more complex venues, wouldn't it be nice to have an additional wayfinding technology that can quiz you a bit and help you choose the right destination?
